In 2012, she went through yoga teacher training and she is now an E-RYT 500. Wendy has been teaching steadily since 2012. She is trained to teach to many types of populations. Wendy is truly looking forward to teaching at Authentic Yoga Studio.

Class Descriptions

Yoga Sweat

If you like to sweat, Yoga Sweat is the class to take. Yoga Sweat is where strength and cardio meet. You will definitely leave this class with a sense of accomplishment and happy vibes. Here you will sweat it ALL out!

Yoga Tabata

Similar to HIIT (high-intensity interval training), Yoga Tabata is a high-energy, calorie-burning yoga class. In Yoga Tabata, there is a brief warm-up and then students are timed as they go through various yoga poses/moves which target specific parts of the body, 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for eight reps each. The class ends with a cool-down/restorative sequence. In this class, you are constantly moving and having fun. If you want to challenge yourself, hear some great music, and get a serious workout, this class is for you.

Yoga Tabata for Beginners

Yoga Tabata for Beginners is a good place to start if you want to learn how to get into and hold yoga poses. We focus on holding each pose for 45 seconds on, 15 seconds and target legs, arms, balance, abs, back, and cardio. The instructor helps with cues and light adjustments to help you feel the. correct alignment in each pose. We begin with a brief warmup and we end class with a cool-down/restorative sequence.

Please bring a yoga mat, sweat towel, and water.
